Possible Causes
Defective power adapter or charging dock, Battery pack completely failed or disconnected, Internal fuse or protection component blown on mainboard, Broken power switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dock from the wall before inspecting it. Do not open the power adapter.
- Step 1 – Check outlet and adapter: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power. Inspect the Lefant adapter and dock cable for damage.
- Step 2 – Inspect dock and contacts: Ensure the dock LED (if present) is lit. Clean the metal charging contacts on both the dock and robot with a dry cloth.
- Step 3 – Try direct power-on: Remove the robot from the dock, toggle the main power switch (if present) OFF then ON, and press the power/clean button for several seconds.
- Step 4 – Check battery connection: Open the battery compartment and verify the battery is present, not swollen, and firmly connected.
- Step 5 – Replace battery (if old): If the robot is several years old and the battery shows no voltage (if tested by a professional), replace the battery pack.
- If still dead: The mainboard or internal fuse is likely damaged. Further repair requires board-level diagnostics by a technician.
