Lefant
Severely Reduced Battery Capacity
Robot vacuum runs for only a few minutes and then returns to the dock or shuts off, even though the battery indicator shows partially full.

Possible Causes
Aged lithium-ion battery with high internal resistance, Battery not fully charging due to dock contact issues, Battery BMS prematurely cutting off, High drag from dirty brushes and wheels increasing load
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot before handling the battery.
- Step 1 – Clean all moving parts: Thoroughly clean main brush, side brushes, wheels, and filters to reduce load.
- Step 2 – Inspect and clean charging contacts: Ensure good contact between robot and dock by cleaning with a dry cloth.
- Step 3 – Perform 2–3 full charge/discharge cycles: Fully charge the robot, run it until it stops, then fully recharge. This can recalibrate the battery gauge but will not fix a worn-out battery.
- Step 4 – Replace battery: If runtime remains very short, install a new Lefant-compatible battery pack of the correct voltage and capacity.
