Possible Causes
Stuck brush height mechanism, Debris in brush lift linkage, Failed brush position sensor, Faulty floor detection sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove the main brush before inspecting the mechanism.
- 1. Remove and clean brush: Take out the main brush and clean thoroughly. Check the brush cavity for debris that could block movement.
- 2. Inspect lift mechanism: Gently move the brush height linkage (if accessible) up and down. It should move smoothly without binding.
- 3. Clean floor sensors: Wipe any small downward-facing sensors near the brush area with a soft cloth.
- 4. Reset and test: Reinstall the brush, reboot the robot, and start a cleaning cycle on a flat floor.
- If the error persists, the brush height sensor or associated mechanism may be damaged and require replacement.
