How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dock and remove the battery before touching internal wiring.
- 1. Check battery seating: Remove the battery cover and ensure the battery pack is firmly seated and not moving around inside the compartment.
- 2. Inspect battery connector: Verify the connector is fully inserted into the main PCB and that no pins are bent or corroded.
- 3. Wiggle test (advanced): With the robot powered on (but upside down and stationary), gently tap or wiggle the housing near the battery and PCB. If the robot shuts off, there is likely a loose connection that needs resoldering or harness replacement.
- If you are not experienced with electronics repair, have a technician inspect and repair any loose or cracked solder joints on the main PCB.
