Steps to try:

• 1. Full power cycle: Turn the main power switch off or hold the power button for 10–15 seconds until the unit shuts down. Wait 2 minutes, then power it back on and try a short cleaning cycle.
• 2. Remove from dock: Start the robot away from the charging station to rule out dock communication issues. Place it in the middle of a room and press Start.
• 3. Firmware update: If your Miele robot supports app connectivity, open the Miele app and check for firmware updates. Install any available update, keeping the robot on the dock and connected to Wi‑Fi until the process completes.
• 4. Check for moisture or contamination: Inspect the exterior vents and sensor windows for signs of liquid spills or heavy dust. If the robot was recently exposed to moisture, allow it to dry in a warm, dry room for 24 hours (powered off) before retrying.

When to call a technician: Persistent F2 after reset and firmware update usually indicates a failed main PCB or internal power circuit. Internal board-level repair should be done by Miele service; replacement of the main control board is typically required.
