Possible Causes

Completely discharged battery, Faulty charging station, Failed main power switch, Internal fuse or power circuit failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure hands are dry when handling power plugs. Do not open the robot housing.

Steps:

  • 1. Check wall outlet: Plug another device (e.g., a lamp) into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
  • 2. Verify dock power: Ensure the charging station’s indicator light is on. If not, try another outlet. If still off, the dock may be defective.
  • 3. Seat robot on dock: Place the robot firmly on the dock, aligning the contacts. Leave it for at least 4–5 hours. Some deeply discharged batteries need extended time before the robot will power on.
  • 4. Try main power switch: If your model has a main power switch on the side or underside, toggle it OFF then ON. Then press the power or Start button.
  • 5. Inspect for signs of damage: Look for burn marks, melted plastic, or a strong electrical smell. If present, unplug everything and stop using the robot.

When to call a technician: If the robot remains completely dead after confirmed charging, the internal power circuit, fuse, or main PCB is likely faulty. Professional service is required.
