• 3. Test brush socket: With the brush removed, briefly run the robot and look into the brush drive area to see if the drive spindle rotates (if visible). Then turn it off.

When to call a technician: If the drive spindle does not rotate or makes grinding noises, the brush motor or gearbox is likely faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
