Safety first: Turn the robot OFF before touching the side brush.

Steps:

• 1. Remove and clean side brush: Take off the side brush and remove hair and debris from the hub and mounting post.
• 2. Inspect for wear: Check the hub for cracks or rounding that could cause slipping. Replace the side brush if damaged.
• 3. Reinstall securely: Refit the side brush and tighten the screw (if present) so it is snug but not overtightened.

When to call a technician: If the side brush still does not spin or only twitches, the side brush motor or its driver circuit may be defective and require service.
