How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot.
- Step 1 – Locate edge sensors: Identify the small IR windows on the sides of the robot body.
- Step 2 – Clean lenses: Wipe each sensor window with a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
- Step 3 – Remove covers: Ensure no decorative stickers or bumpers are covering the sensors.
- Step 4 – Test in open area: Power ON and start cleaning away from tight corners to see if the error clears.
- Step 5 – If E13 persists: The side IR sensor board or its wiring may be damaged and require replacement.
