How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the robot has sufficient charge and is powered ON.
- Step 1 – Replace remote batteries: Install fresh batteries in the OKP remote control.
- Step 2 – Clean IR window: Wipe the dark plastic window on the robot's top/front where the IR receiver is located.
- Step 3 – Reduce distance: Stand within 2–3 meters and point the remote directly at the robot.
- Step 4 – Test via app: If the app can control the robot but the remote cannot, the IR receiver or remote is faulty. If neither works, the main board may have a communication issue.
