Possible Causes

Dust bin full or clogged, Primary filter heavily clogged, Air duct blocked, Suction motor overheating or failing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dust bin.

  • Step 1 – Empty dust bin: Open the dust bin and empty all debris into a trash bag. Tap gently to dislodge compacted dust.
  • Step 2 – Clean filters: Remove the pre-filter and HEPA filter from the dust bin. Tap them gently against a hard surface outdoors to remove dust. If washable (check OKP manual), rinse with cold water and allow to dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
  • Step 3 – Inspect air path: Look into the suction inlet on the robot and the outlet on the dust bin. Remove any blockages such as tissue, hair clumps, or large debris.
  • Step 4 – Check suction motor intake: With the bin removed, visually inspect the suction motor intake grill for dust buildup. Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean.
  • Step 5 – Cool down: If the robot feels hot, let it cool for 30 minutes before restarting.
  • Step 6 – Reassemble and test: Reinstall the dry filters and dust bin, power ON, and start a cleaning cycle. If E5 recurs quickly, the suction motor may be failing and should be replaced.
