Possible Causes
Filter not seated correctly, Wrong filter type installed, Broken filter frame, Faulty filter detection switch or sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dust bin.
- Check filter installation: Remove the filter from the dust bin and reinstall it according to the arrows or guides on the bin. Ensure it is fully seated and locked.
- Use correct filter: Verify that you are using a Philips-compatible filter designed for your specific robot model.
- Inspect filter frame: Look for cracks or missing tabs on the filter frame that might prevent proper engagement with the sensor.
- Clean sensor area: If there is a small switch or optical sensor near the filter slot, gently clean around it with a dry cotton swab.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall the filter and dust bin, then power ON the robot and check if E11 clears.
- Service if needed: If the error persists with a correct, properly installed filter, the filter detection sensor may need replacement by a service center.
