Possible Causes
Blocked air vents causing overheating, Clogged filters increasing motor load, Faulty temperature sensor on motor or PCB, Running in very hot environment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and unplug the dock. Allow the robot to cool for at least 30 minutes before further inspection.
- Check environment: Ensure the robot is used in an ambient temperature within the range specified in the manual (typically 10–35°C). Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Clean filters and ducts: Remove and clean the dust bin and filters. Check for blockages in the suction path and vents.
- Inspect vents: Make sure all ventilation openings on the robot are free from dust buildup. Clean with a soft brush or compressed air.
- Short test run: After cooling and cleaning, run the robot for a short period and monitor for excessive heat or fan noise.
- Persistent E15: If the robot overheats quickly or shows E15 again, the temperature sensor or motor may be defective. Professional diagnosis and replacement of the sensor or motor assembly is recommended.
