Possible Causes
Mop water tank not installed correctly, Faulty mop module detection switch, Blocked water pump, Failed water pump motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the mop water tank. Avoid spilling water into the robot body.
- Check tank installation: Reinstall the mop tank firmly until it clicks. Ensure the mop cloth plate is attached correctly.
- Inspect seals and connectors: Check the tank's rubber seals and any electrical contacts for damage or dirt. Clean and dry them as needed.
- Prime the pump: Fill the tank with clean water, reinstall it, and start a mop mode. Listen for the pump. If it is very loud or silent and no water flows, there may be a blockage.
- Clean water outlets: Remove the mop cloth and inspect the water outlet holes for clogs. Clear them gently with a pin or soft brush.
- Persistent E20: If the robot still reports a mop module error, the detection switch or pump motor may be faulty and should be serviced or replaced.
