Possible Causes

Charging dock IR beacon blocked, Dock placed in poor location, Dirty front IR receiver, Navigation map corruption

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal work is required; keep the robot powered ON.

  • Relocate dock: Place the Philips charging dock against a flat wall with at least 1.5 m of clear space in front and 0.5 m on each side. Avoid corners and behind furniture.
  • Clean sensors: Wipe the front IR receiver and any top sensors with a soft cloth. Clean the IR window on the dock as well.
  • Remove obstacles: Clear objects, cables, and rugs that may block the robot's path to the dock.
  • Reset map (if supported): In the Philips app, delete the existing map and allow the robot to create a new one during a full cleaning run.
  • Test homing: Start a cleaning cycle and then press the Home/Dock button to see if the robot can find the dock.
