Possible Causes
Worn drive wheel treads, Weak wheel suspension springs, Low battery reducing motor torque, Excessive load from clogged brush
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before inspecting the underside.
- Clean main brush and wheels: Remove hair and debris from the main brush and drive wheels to reduce drag.
- Check wheel suspension: Press each wheel up and down to ensure it moves freely and springs back. If a wheel is loose or does not spring, the suspension may be damaged.
- Inspect wheel treads: If the rubber is smooth or cracked, replace the wheel module to restore traction.
- Adjust environment: Secure or remove loose cables and consider using threshold ramps for high transitions.
- Battery health: If the robot struggles more as the battery discharges, test with a new or known-good battery pack.
