Possible Causes
Disconnected suction motor connector, Failed suction motor, Faulty motor driver on main PCB, Dust bin not seated activating safety interlock
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dust bin.
- Re-seat dust bin: Reinstall the bin firmly until it clicks. Some Philips models will not start the suction motor if the bin is not detected.
- Check suction sound: Start a cleaning cycle and listen closely. If you hear only wheel and brush noise but no fan, the suction motor is not running.
- Inspect filters and bin: Ensure filters are installed correctly and not blocking any safety switches.
- Service required: If the motor never starts, internal access is needed to check the motor connector and driver circuit. This should be done by a qualified technician.
