Possible Causes
Hair and fibers wrapped around caster axle, Worn caster bearing, Debris jammed in caster socket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over.
- Remove caster wheel: Pull the front caster wheel straight up out of its socket. Some models may require a gentle pry with a flat tool.
- Clean axle: Remove hair and debris from the caster axle and inside the socket using tweezers or a small brush.
- Check rotation: Spin the caster wheel by hand. It should rotate smoothly. If it feels rough or wobbly, replace the caster assembly.
- Reinstall: Push the caster back into its socket until it clicks.
- Test navigation: Run the robot and observe if it moves smoothly without dragging.
