Possible Causes
Dustbin filter heavily clogged with fine dust, Filter wet or damaged, Filter not installed correctly, Non-genuine filter restricting airflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off the robot and remove the dustbin.
Step-by-step:
- Remove the filter: Open the dustbin and take out the HEPA or E11 filter (usually a rectangular cartridge).
- Tap-clean the filter: Tap the filter gently against the inside of a trash can to dislodge dust. Do not use sharp tools.
- If washable type: Some Roborock filters are washable (check your manual). Rinse under lukewarm water only from the clean side out. Do not use detergents. Allow to dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Inspect for damage: If the filter is torn, warped, or permanently discolored, replace it with a genuine Roborock filter.
- Reinstall correctly: Ensure the filter is fully seated and the dustbin is closed and reinserted until it clicks.
If suction is still weak or the error persists: The suction fan or airflow path may be blocked and require further inspection.
