Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the robot from the dock and power it off. Do not attempt to open the battery pack itself.
Step-by-step:
- Allow to cool: If the robot feels warm, let it sit powered off for 30–60 minutes, then try charging again.
- Check charging contacts: Clean the charging contacts on the robot and dock with a dry cloth.
- Try a different outlet: Ensure the dock is powered and the LED on the dock (if present) is lit.
- Check for swelling: If you open the battery compartment (usually under the top cover or bottom plate), visually inspect the battery pack for swelling or damage. Do not puncture or crush the pack.
If the error persists: Replace the battery pack with a genuine Roborock battery of the correct model. If you are not comfortable opening the robot, seek professional service.
