Possible Causes
Hair wrapped around caster axle, Debris in caster socket, Caster wheel worn flat, Rust or corrosion on axle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and flip it over.
Step-by-step:
- Remove caster wheel: Pull the front caster straight up to remove it from its socket.
- Clean axle and socket: Remove hair and debris from the axle and inside the socket. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Inspect wheel: Spin the wheel on its axle. If it binds or has a flat spot, replace the caster assembly.
- Reinstall: Push the caster back into the socket until it clicks and swivels freely.
Test the robot’s movement; it should roll smoothly without dragging.
