Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove it from the dock.

• Check bumper movement: Press the front bumper across its entire width. It should move in and spring back freely. If it feels stuck, inspect for debris or misalignment.
• Clean bumper gap: Use a thin brush or compressed air to remove dust, hair, or small objects trapped between the bumper and the body.
• Tap test: With the robot powered on, gently tap the bumper and listen for click sounds. If there is no click or the robot does not react, the bumper switch or wiring may be faulty.
• Service if needed: Replacing the bumper switch assembly requires opening the housing and should be done by a technician to avoid damaging clips or seals.
