Possible Causes

Failed thermistor on main PCB or battery, Blocked ventilation causing overheating, Fan motor not running, Firmware misreading temperature

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: If the robot feels very hot, stop using it and let it cool completely before further testing.

  • Allow cooling: Turn off the robot and remove it from the dock. Let it sit in a cool, ventilated area for at least 1 hour.
  • Check vents and filters: Inspect all air vents and the dustbin filter. Clean any dust buildup that could restrict airflow.
  • Test fan operation: Start the robot and listen for the suction fan. If it does not run, the unit may overheat quickly and trigger C13.
  • Persistent C13: Indicates a faulty temperature sensor (on the battery pack or main PCB) or a failing fan motor. These components should be tested and replaced by a technician.
