Possible Causes
Main brush jammed by debris, Worn main brush bearings, Failed main brush motor, Loose motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove it from the dock before working underneath.
- Remove main brush: Unlock the brush cover and lift out the main brush. Clear all hair, threads, and debris from the bristles and end caps.
- Clean brush housing: Remove any debris from the brush chamber and suction inlet.
- Inspect brush ends: Ensure the end caps spin freely. If they are seized or melted, replace the main brush assembly.
- Test without brush: With the brush removed, start the robot briefly. If the motor spins freely and E1 clears, reinstall a cleaned or new brush. If the motor does not spin, the motor or wiring is likely faulty and needs replacement.
