How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dock before cleaning contacts.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the robot and dock contacts with a dry cloth. For light oxidation, use a cloth slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol and dry thoroughly.
- Check dock power: Ensure the dock’s power adapter is firmly plugged into both the dock and a working outlet.
- Align robot on dock: Manually place the robot on the dock, ensuring the contacts touch and the charging indicator appears.
- Test with another outlet or adapter: If available, try a different compatible Samsung adapter or outlet to rule out power issues.
- If E5 continues: The charging circuit on the main PCB or the dock itself may be defective and require replacement.
