Dirty or oxidized charging contacts on robot, Dirty dock charging plates, Misaligned dock, Faulty charging circuit on robot or dock
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dock before cleaning contacts.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the metal charging contacts on the robot and the dock with a dry microfiber cloth. For stubborn oxidation, lightly rub with a pencil eraser, then wipe clean.
- Check alignment: Place the dock against a wall on a hard, level surface. Ensure the robot can approach straight on.
- Reconnect power: Plug the dock back in and verify the power light is on.
- Test charging: Manually place the robot on the dock and confirm the charging indicator on the robot illuminates.
If E15 persists and the robot will not charge, the dock or robot charging board may require replacement.
