Possible Causes
Front caster wheel jammed with hair, Caster axle seized, Caster not seated properly, Caster sensor (if equipped) not reading rotation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn the robot OFF.
- Remove front caster: Flip the robot over. Pull the front caster wheel straight up to remove it from its socket.
- Clean wheel and axle: Remove hair and debris from around the wheel and the axle. Ensure the wheel spins freely.
- Clean socket: Remove any debris from the caster socket in the robot.
- Reinstall: Push the caster back into place until it clicks and rotates freely.
- Test: Power on the robot and start a cleaning cycle.
If E18 persists and the wheel does not spin freely, replace the front caster assembly.
