Possible Causes
Dirty charging contacts, Weak or failing battery, Faulty charging dock, Damaged charging circuit on robot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dock before cleaning.
- Clean contacts: Wipe robot and dock contacts with a dry cloth. Remove oxidation with a pencil eraser if needed.
- Check dock cable: Inspect the dock power cable for damage and ensure it is firmly plugged in.
- Test with another outlet: Move the dock to a different outlet to rule out power issues.
- Monitor charging: Place the robot on the dock and verify the charging indicator remains on steadily.
If charging remains inconsistent, test with a replacement dock. If still faulty, the robot's internal charging board may need replacement.
