Possible Causes
Main brush jammed with hair or debris, Main brush bearings seized, Main brush motor failing, Main brush gearbox obstructed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the Tesvor robot vacuum OFF using the power switch (if present) and remove it from the charging dock. Flip the robot over and keep fingers away from sharp edges.
Step-by-step:
- Remove the main brush: Open the main brush cover by pressing the release tabs. Lift out the main roller brush.
- Clear debris: Use the supplied cleaning tool or scissors to cut away hair, threads, and pet fur from the brush bristles and the brush ends. Pay special attention to the end caps where hair can wrap tightly.
- Clean brush bearings: Pull off the plastic end caps (if removable) and remove any hair or dust from the bearing area. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Inspect the brush cavity: Check the brush housing and gearbox area for lodged objects (toys, carpet fringe, etc.). Remove any obstruction carefully.
- Check brush rotation: Manually spin the main brush; it should rotate smoothly with minimal resistance. If it feels rough or seized, the brush or motor may be worn.
- Reinstall and test: Refit the main brush and cover. Turn the robot back on and start a cleaning cycle to see if the E1 error clears.
If the error persists: The main brush motor or internal gearbox may be damaged. Do not continue forcing operation, as this can damage the main board. Contact Tesvor support or a qualified technician to test and replace the main brush motor assembly.
