Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot before handling the battery. Do not short battery terminals.
Basic steps:
- Place the robot on the charging dock and ensure the dock is plugged in and the indicator light is on.
- Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and dock with a dry cloth.
- Allow the robot to charge uninterrupted for at least 4–6 hours.
If the robot still shows E12 or shuts off quickly:
- Remove the battery compartment cover (usually on the underside) and check that the battery connector is firmly plugged in.
- Inspect the battery pack for swelling, leakage, or damage. Do not use a damaged battery.
- If the battery is more than 2–3 years old or shows signs of failure, replace it with an original or compatible Tesvor battery pack of the same voltage and capacity.
If a new battery does not resolve E12: The charging circuit or power management IC on the main board may be defective. Board replacement is recommended via a professional service center.
