Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off the robot and remove it from the dock. If possible, remove the battery connector (on some Tesvor models) before opening any covers.
Basic checks (no disassembly):
- Confirm the main brush is correctly seated and the cover is fully latched.
- Try a full reboot: turn the power switch off for 1–2 minutes, then back on, or hold the power button as per the user manual.
Advanced checks (for experienced users):
- Remove the main brush and cover. Inspect the motor shaft area for melted plastic or burnt smell.
- If you are comfortable opening the bottom cover, remove the screws and gently lift the cover to access the main brush motor connector.
- Check that the motor plug is firmly seated in the main PCB socket and that no wires are pinched or broken.
- If you have a multimeter, you can check continuity of the motor leads; an open circuit indicates a failed motor.
If you find burnt smell, melted insulation, or the motor tests open: Replace the main brush motor assembly. If the motor appears fine but there is no voltage output from the board during operation, the main control board may need replacement. In that case, contact Tesvor service; board-level repair is not recommended for DIY.
