Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove the dust bin.
Restore airflow:
- Empty the dust bin completely.
- Remove and clean the filters. Tap them gently to remove dust; replace if they are heavily soiled or older than recommended.
- Inspect the suction inlet behind the main brush and inside the dust bin compartment for clogs; remove any debris.
- Check the rubber seals around the dust bin and filter frame for damage or misalignment.
Test suction:
- Reinstall the bin and run the robot. Feel for airflow at the exhaust and observe pickup performance.
If suction remains weak: The fan blades may be damaged or the fan motor worn. Replacing the vacuum fan motor assembly will restore suction; this typically requires opening the robot and should be done by an experienced DIYer or technician.
