Safety first: Do not open the power adapter or battery pack. Unplug the dock before inspection.
External checks:
- Verify the wall outlet works by plugging in another device.
- Check that the dock's indicator light is on when plugged in.
- Place the robot on the dock and ensure the charging contacts align; look for any charging indicator on the robot.
Battery and reset:
- Leave the robot on the dock for at least 4 hours, then try powering it on.
- If still dead, remove the battery cover and check that the battery connector is firmly seated.
If there is still no response: The battery may be completely failed or the internal power circuit (fuse, DC-DC converter, main board) may be damaged. Replace the battery pack first. If a new battery does not restore power, main board or power board replacement is required and should be done by a professional.
