Possible Causes

Camera lens obstructed or dirty, Camera ribbon cable loose, Vision processor overheating, Camera module failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Power OFF the robot and remove it from the dock before cleaning the camera.

  • 1. Clean camera lens: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the camera lens on the top/front of the robot. Remove any fingerprints, dust, or smudges.
  • 2. Remove obstructions: Ensure no stickers, covers, or decorative items are blocking the camera field of view.
  • 3. Cool down: If the robot feels hot, let it cool for 20–30 minutes, then restart. Overheating can temporarily disrupt the vision processor.
  • 4. Reboot and test: Power the robot OFF and ON, then start a cleaning cycle in a well-lit room. Poor lighting can cause navigation errors on camera-based models.
  • 5. Internal cable check (advanced): If E11 persists, open the top cover and verify that the camera ribbon cable is firmly seated in its connector on the main board.

Warning: Do not use alcohol or glass cleaner directly on the lens; apply to a cloth first if needed. Camera module replacement should be done by a professional to avoid damaging the ribbon cable or main PCB.
