Possible Causes
One drive wheel slipping, Debris in one wheel module, IMU miscalibration, Drive motor wear on one side
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and place it upside down.
- 1. Clean both wheels: Remove debris from the wheel treads and wells. Ensure both wheels spin freely by hand.
- 2. Check tire condition: If one wheel's rubber is more worn than the other, replace the worn wheel module.
- 3. Sensor calibration: Use the Trifo app to perform a sensor or gyro calibration on a flat surface.
- 4. Test on hard floor: Run the robot on a hard, level surface to see if tracking improves.
Warning: If the robot still spins in place after cleaning and calibration, there may be a deeper issue with the IMU or main PCB that requires professional service.
