Possible Causes
Clogged air duct or filter, Dust bin not seated, Faulty suction fan motor, Blocked exhaust grille
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dust bin.
- Empty dust bin: Open and empty the bin completely. Remove any large debris stuck in the inlet.
- Clean filters: Remove the primary filter and HEPA filter (if equipped). Tap gently over a trash can to remove dust. If washable, rinse with water and allow to dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling.
- Inspect air path: Check the suction inlet at the brush area and the duct inside the robot for blockages. Use a flashlight and a narrow brush to clear any clogs.
- Check bin seating: Reinstall the dust bin firmly until it clicks. Some models have a bin presence switch that must be engaged.
- Test suction: Turn the robot ON and start cleaning. Listen for the fan motor.
- If E10 persists and no suction sound: The suction fan motor or its driver circuit on the main board may have failed. Replacement of the fan module is usually required.
