Possible Causes
Dust bin not fully inserted, Dirty or bent bin detection switch, Broken bin latch, Faulty bin sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the robot.
- Remove and reinstall bin: Take out the dust bin and inspect the rails and latch. Reinsert firmly until you hear a click.
- Clean detection area: Locate the bin detection switch or optical sensor inside the bin cavity. Wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust.
- Check for damage: Ensure the plastic tab on the dust bin that actuates the switch is not broken or worn.
- Test: Turn the robot ON and see if the error clears when the bin is inserted.
- If E11 remains: The dust bin detection switch or sensor on the main board may be faulty. This requires disassembly to access and replace the switch or the main PCB.
