How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep the robot on the floor while cleaning sensors.
- Clean front sensors: Wipe the front IR window and camera (if equipped) with a soft, dry cloth.
- Reposition dock: Place the dock against a wall with at least 0.5 m clearance on each side and 1.5 m in front. Avoid direct sunlight on the dock.
- Remove obstacles: Ensure there are no objects blocking the path between the robot and dock.
- Manual docking test: Place the robot 1–2 m in front of the dock and press the Home/Dock button. Observe if it detects and approaches the dock.
- If E13 persists: The IR receiver board or front sensor module may be defective and require replacement.
