How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the water tank.
- Inspect tank: Check that the water tank is not cracked and that its electrical contacts or magnets are clean and undamaged.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the metal contacts on both the tank and robot with a dry cloth. Ensure there is no moisture bridging the contacts.
- Reinstall tank: Slide the tank into place until it clicks. Do not force it.
- Test mopping mode: Turn the robot ON and select mopping mode in the app or on the unit.
- If E16 remains: The water tank detection switch or connector on the robot's underside may be faulty and require service.
