Possible Causes
Carpet detection disabled, Dirty carpet sensors, Firmware not supporting carpet avoidance, Faulty floor-type sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the mopping pad if using the robot on carpets.
- Check settings: In the Ultenic app, enable carpet avoidance or carpet boost features if available.
- Clean sensors: Wipe underside sensors that detect floor type (often near the front or center).
- Use no-mop zones: Set no-mop or no-go zones over carpeted areas in the map.
- If still failing: The floor-type detection sensor may be malfunctioning and require service.
