Possible Causes

Dirty infrared receivers on robot, Dirty IR emitters on dock, Dock placed in a tight or reflective area, Faulty dock IR board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the charging dock before cleaning it.

  • Clean dock sensors: Wipe the front of the charging dock, especially the dark plastic window where the IR emitters are located, with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Clean robot sensors: On the robot, clean the front-facing IR windows and any top-mounted navigation sensors with a microfiber cloth.
  • Reposition the dock: Place the dock against a flat wall with at least 1.5–2 feet (0.5 m) of clear space on each side and 4–6 feet (1.5–2 m) in front. Avoid mirrors, glass, or shiny metal surfaces directly opposite the dock.
  • Test docking: Plug the dock back in, place the robot about 3–6 feet (1–2 m) in front of it, and use the app or robot button to send it home.
  • If C11 continues: The dock's IR board or the robot's docking receiver may be faulty. Try another power outlet and inspect the dock for damage. If still unresolved, contact Wyze for a replacement dock or service.
