Possible Causes
Dock placed in cramped or cluttered area, Dirty docking sensors, Weak Wi‑Fi or map errors, Faulty charging dock
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dock before moving or cleaning it.
- Reposition dock: Place the dock against a flat wall with clear space on both sides and in front. Avoid corners, under furniture, or near stairs.
- Clean sensors: Wipe the robot's front IR sensors and the dock's IR window with a microfiber cloth.
- Rebuild map: If the robot uses mapping, delete and recreate the map to ensure accurate dock location.
- Test manual docking: Place the robot 3–6 feet (1–2 m) in front of the dock and send it home via the app. If it still fails, try another power outlet for the dock.
- If problem persists: The dock or robot docking receiver may be faulty and may require replacement.
