How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and place it on a soft surface before inspection.
- Inspect underside: Look for sharp edges, cracks, or protruding screws on the bottom cover and brush guard.
- Check for trapped debris: Remove the main brush and brush guard. Look for small stones, glass, or hard debris lodged in the guard or wheel treads.
- Inspect caster wheel: Ensure the front caster wheel is present, rotates freely, and is not worn flat.
- Smooth rough edges: Lightly sand any sharp plastic burrs with very fine sandpaper, being careful not to alter functional surfaces.
- Test on inconspicuous area: After cleaning and smoothing, test the robot on a less visible section of floor to confirm no further marking.
