Possible Causes
Aged or swollen Li-ion battery, Battery connector loose, Battery BMS (protection board) fault, Mainboard charging circuit issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and disconnect it from the dock. Do not puncture or crush the battery. If the battery is swollen, handle with extreme care and recycle properly.
- 1. Power reset:
- Turn the robot off and leave it off the dock for 5–10 minutes.
- Place it back on the dock and allow it to charge for at least 3 hours.
- 2. Check battery status in app:
- Open the Xiaomi Home app and check the reported battery percentage and health (if available).
- 3. Inspect the battery (advanced):
- Remove the bottom cover to access the battery compartment.
- Disconnect the battery connector from the mainboard.
- Inspect the pack for swelling, leakage, or damage.
- 4. Reseat or replace:
- Reconnect the battery firmly and reassemble the robot.
- If the error persists or the battery is visibly swollen or very old (2–3+ years), replace the battery pack with a compatible Xiaomi battery.
- 5. If a new battery does not resolve the error:
- The mainboard charging or battery sensing circuit may be faulty; contact a service center or replace the mainboard.
