How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep the dock plugged into a safe, dry outlet and do not open the dock while powered.
- 1. Reposition the dock:
- Place the dock against a wall with at least 0.5 m clearance on each side and 1.5 m in front.
- 2. Clean IR windows:
- Wipe the front of the dock and the front sensor window of the robot with a soft cloth.
- 3. Test manual docking:
- Place the robot 1–2 m in front of the dock and press the Home button.
- Observe if it can see and approach the dock.
- 4. Check dock power:
- Ensure the dock LED (if present) is lit, indicating power.
- 5. If the robot cannot detect the dock at all:
- The dock IR emitter or robot IR receiver may be faulty; replace the dock or front IR sensor board as needed.
