Safety first: Turn off the robot and flip it over on a soft surface.

• 1. Remove the side brush:
  • Use a screwdriver (if required) to remove the screw holding the side brush.
  • Pull the side brush straight off the motor shaft.
• 2. Clean the hub and shaft:
  • Remove hair and debris from the brush hub and around the motor shaft.
  • Use tweezers to pull out any tightly wound hair.
• 3. Inspect the brush:
  • If the bristles are deformed or the hub is cracked, replace the side brush.
• 4. Test the motor:
  • With the brush removed, power on the robot and start a cleaning cycle.
  • Observe whether the side brush motor shaft spins freely.
• 5. If the shaft does not spin:
  • Check the motor cable connection to the mainboard.
  • If the motor is receiving power but not turning, replace the side brush motor module.
