Robot vacuum does not detect or avoid virtual walls / no-go zones set in the app.

Safety first: Use physical barriers if the robot is entering dangerous areas (stairs, wet zones) until the issue is resolved.

• 1. Verify map status:
  • Ensure the map with no-go zones is saved and currently active.
• 2. Start from dock:
  • Begin cleaning from the dock so the robot can align with the saved map.
• 3. Avoid moving dock:
  • Do not move the dock after mapping; if moved, remap the home.
• 4. Firmware update:
  • Update the robot firmware via Xiaomi Home.
• 5. Recreate no-go zones:
  • Delete and redraw virtual walls and no-go zones on the latest map.
