Possible Causes

Main roller brush jammed with hair or debris, Main brush bearings seized, Main brush motor overloaded, Main brush end caps clogged

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the power switch on the underside of the Yeedi robot to OFF and remove it from the charging dock before working on the brush.

  • 1. Remove the main brush: Flip the robot over, release the main brush cover latches, and lift off the cover. Pull out the main roller brush.
  • 2. Clear hair and debris: Use the included cleaning tool or scissors to cut away hair wrapped around the brush, especially at both ends and around the bearings. Remove any string, carpet fibers, or pet hair.
  • 3. Clean brush compartment: Inspect the brush housing and suction channel for lodged debris (toys, socks, large dirt clumps). Remove everything carefully.
  • 4. Check end caps and bearings: Pull off the plastic end caps on the roller (if removable). Clean hair and dust from the shafts and bearing areas. Ensure the brush spins freely by hand.
  • 5. Inspect brush motor area: Look into the brush motor drive slot for debris. Do not poke hard tools into the motor; gently remove visible obstructions.
  • 6. Reinstall and test: Refit the end caps, place the brush back into the slot, close the cover until it clicks, turn the power switch ON, and start a cleaning cycle. If E1 persists after cleaning, the main brush motor or its gearbox may be failing and should be replaced.

Warning: Do not run the robot with the main brush removed for extended periods; it can affect suction performance and may cause additional errors.
