Possible Causes

Suction inlet blocked by debris, Dustbin filter completely clogged, Fan motor bearings worn or seized, Fan motor wiring or connector loose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove the dustbin.

  • 1. Check for blockages: Look into the suction inlet inside the dustbin compartment and the channel leading to the fan. Remove any visible clogs.
  • 2. Clean or replace filters: Remove the primary filter and HEPA filter from the dustbin. Tap gently over a trash can to remove dust. If heavily soiled or damaged, replace with new Yeedi-compatible filters.
  • 3. Inspect fan intake: With the bin removed, visually inspect the fan intake grille. Do not insert metal tools; use a soft brush or compressed air (short bursts) to clear dust.
  • 4. Test suction: Power the robot ON (without starting a full clean) and start a spot or suction test mode if available. Listen for the fan spinning. If it hums, squeals, or does not start, the motor may be failing.
  • 5. Internal inspection (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and locate the fan motor assembly. Check the wiring harness and connector to the main board.
  • 6. Replace fan motor: If E7 persists and the fan does not run properly, replace the vacuum fan motor assembly.

Warning: Do not run the robot without filters installed; dust can damage the fan and electronics.
