Possible Causes
Battery pack disconnected or failed, Main power switch in OFF position, Faulty charging dock or power adapter, Main control board power circuit failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging dock before inspection.
- 1. Verify power switch: Turn the robot over and ensure the main power switch is in the ON position.
- 2. Check dock and outlet: Confirm the dock's indicator light is on. Try another wall outlet and, if possible, another compatible adapter.
- 3. Direct charge test: Place the robot on the dock and look for any sign of charging (LEDs, sounds). Leave it on the dock for at least 30 minutes.
- 4. Inspect battery connection (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and check that the battery pack is securely plugged into the main board and that there is no swelling or leakage.
- 5. Replace battery: If the robot remains unresponsive and the battery is old or suspect, replace it with a Yeedi-compatible battery pack.
- 6. Main board diagnosis: If a new battery does not restore power, the main board's power circuitry is likely faulty and the board should be replaced.
Warning: Do not attempt to jump-start or open the battery pack; this is dangerous and voids safety certifications.
